Updated State Energy Program (SEP) Operations Manual Now Available

The U.S. Department of Energy recently updated the State Energy Program (SEP) Operations Manual. The Operations Manual is a reference tool for the SEP network states and program officials within the Department of Energy. The Manual contains the tools and resources needed to administer SEP, and includes an overview of the State Energy Program, guidance on the annual formula grants and formula grant application, guidance on program administration, including monitoring and reporting, and information on DOE’s technical assistance resources. The updated Manual also contains several new sections, including a description of WIP’s Strategic and Interagency Initiatives (SI2) team, and overview of technical assistance resources from the State and Local Solution Center, a description of DOE’s Better Communities Alliance, and tools and resources from DOE’s Energy Savings Performance Contracting and Outdoor Lighting Accelerators.
