On August 17, 2016, NASEO provided a letter to House and Senate energy leaders making clear our support for reauthorization of the U.S. State Energy Program (SEP) and Weatherization Assistant Program (WAP), as well as clarifying language allowing state participation in the loan guarantee program and support for the Senate's language on building energy codes permuting state participation in that program.
