The U.S. Department of Energy's State Energy Program (SEP) provides financial and technical assistance to State and Territory Energy Offices to promote energy efficiency, energy reliability, and energy security. Many State and Territory Energy Offices have used SEP dollars to fund transportation programs including EV and EV charging infrastructure incentive programs, research on alternative fuels and relevant technologies, workforce development, and other programs to support the energy-transportation nexus. During this call, State and Territory Energy Office staff from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Utah, and Virginia will discuss how their state has used SEP funds to advance transportation programs and projects in their state. Please reach out to Delaney Dixon (ddixon@naseo.org) to learn more.
